Margaret has a background in secondary and adult education, teaching French and History. She holds a Diploma in International Communication, an MA in History and a Post Graduate Certificate in Education.

She has worked in Complementary Medicine since the mid 1990s, and ran a Holistic Therapy Practice offering a range of therapeutic treatments which included Reflexology, Massage, Aromatherapy and Reiki. She also taught practitioner courses and ran workshops in Reflexology, Indian Head Massage and Reiki.

She gained a BSc in Acupuncture, together with the Licence to practice from the College of Integrated Chinese Medicine (Reading). As the name suggests the training programme integrates two of the main styles of Acupuncture - Five Element Acupuncture and TCM.

Margaret now practices only Acupuncture.
